Teresa van der Vossen (MSc)
Teresa van der Vossen is a dedicated lecturer at UCOL, specializing in strength and conditioning. With a passion for fitness and sports, Teresa is not only an accomplished educator but also a competitive weightlifting athlete with national level placements.
Her commitment to athletic excellence is matched by her role as the club president, where she has successfully led the MWWC for the past year.
As a testament to her expertise, Teresa has also earned a Masters degree in Human Performance Sciences, majoring in Strength and Conditioning and Sports Nutrition.

Georgia, our Vice President and Events Coordinator at the Manawatū Whanganui Weightlifting Club, is a highly skilled and dedicated individual with a passion for fitness. She excels in organising and managing engaging events for weightlifters of all levels. With exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, she ensures that every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations. Her friendly and approachable demeanour fosters a welcoming environment for all participants. We are fortunate to have such a talented individual leading our event planning efforts.

Kaleb Sola
Kaleb, passionate self-taught weightlifter and high-performance throwing athlete, brings his love for sport to the club, with the dedication to making weightlifting more accessible to his role as an Athlete Delegate. With years of experience and expertise supporting athletes, Kaleb understands the challenges faced by young and new athletes in sport. As one of our Affiliated Coaches, he is committed to providing support to athletes at all levels. Kaleb's goal is to advocate for better resources, opportunities, and inclusivity within the sport community, ensuring that athletes have the necessary tools to succeed.

We are excited to welcome Anna Della-Barca as the new Treasurer of the Manawatū Whanganui Weightlifting Club. Despite being new to the role, Anna brings with her a wealth of experience from her extensive financial background, making her a valuable asset to our club. Her expertise and proficiency in financial matters promise to enhance our club's financial management and ensure its long-term sustainability. Hayden Pritchard
Hayden is a dedicated, experienced Child Protection Officer with a Ph.D. in Strength and Conditioning, focused on creating safer environments for children. As an internationally recognized athlete and father of two, he brings discipline and understanding to his role. Hayden is also a renowned coach with the Stronger Dads Collective, empowering parents for lifelong bonds with their children. With his expertise, commitment, and academic background, Hayden proactively identifies and addresses risks for every child's safety.
